Comprehensive Evaluation

Speech and Language

Feeding and Swallowing
Our comprehensive evaluations provide a detailed look at your child’s speech, language, and feeding/swallowing abilities. We assess speech articulation, comprehension, expressive language, and social communication. For feeding and swallowing, we evaluate oral structures, muscle function, and coordination during eating and drinking. Using observations and play-based activities, we gather a complete picture of your child’s strengths and challenges, and provide personalized recommendations for therapy and at-home support.
We offer treatment for a wide variety of speech and language needs, including articulation disorders, language delays, stuttering, voice concerns, and cognitive-communication challenges. Therapy focuses on improving speech clarity, fluency, and articulation, while language sessions work on vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and comprehension. For voice issues like hoarseness or strain, we offer voice therapy, and our cognitive-communication therapy helps children strengthen attention, memory, and problem-solving skills.
Our feeding and swallowing therapy helps improve the safety and efficiency of eating and drinking. We use strategies to strengthen the muscles involved in these functions and address issues like swallowing difficulties or improper oral habits. Orofacial myofunctional therapy targets muscle coordination in the face and mouth, helping with issues like tongue thrust, swallowing patterns, and habits like thumb-sucking that can affect speech, feeding, and dental health.
